Georgiana Caroline Carden papers, 1920-1946.

Primarily concerning her work for the California Department of Education and the education of migrant and Indian children. Included are letters from Ralph Palmer Merritt, Katharine Conway Felton, and others; some reports and papers written by Miss Carden; and records of her activities, 1920-1926, upon which she based her reports. Also included are accounts for her Little House experiment, an attempt to provide low-cost housing for working girls in San Francisco, and regulations drawn up by her for San Francisco dance halls.
